I was fortunate enough to be sent four nail polishes from the collection; 24/7, Decadent, Dream On,  and Pinky Glitter.  The colors are vibrant and stunning in person as they are in the photos.  The polishes go on smooth and to get the most vibrant color, I would recommend two coats of the non-glitter formulas.  The glitter and sprinkles are perfect on top of a color or where alone.  A great buy!

The SinfulColors Flirt with Hearts collection is available for $1.99 each at Walgreens, Rite Aid and other mass retailers in February!  Want to be in the know follow SinfulColors on Facebook or Twitter.

Many of the StartupNation Home-Based 100 entries showed that people are leveraging the efficiencies and lower overhead of home-based businesses to pursue their passion and bring in income during these tight economic times.

“The 2014 ranking reveals that home business is serious business – more relevant than ever. “It is a huge honor to be recognized as a top home business for creating it from a love.  I could not be happier to be #40 and in the top 100.  I am passionate about makeup and providing excellent service so to be recognized for it, is icing on the cake.” stated Tracie Rosales owner of Makeup Artistry by Tracie

The StartupNation Home-Based 100 highlights 10 top-ten lists making it not just your ordinary business ranking. From the wackiest, to the most innovative, to the best financial performers – this unique and diverse list highlights the home-based businesses that usually go unrecognized, but still play a vital role in the economy today. Get Emily Blunt’s Golden Globe 2015 Beauty Look

The 2015 72nd Annual Golden Globe’s took place last night in Los Angeles.  I have the distinct pleasure of getting all of the beauty details of one of the hottest nominees; Emily Blunt.  Makeup Artist Jenn Streicher for Kiehl’s and Dior Beauty tells us how she created the look.

“Emily is wearing a gorgeous white Michael Kors dress with to-die-for jewels by Lorraine Schwartz – both the dress and jewels were custom made just for Emily. I can’t remember the last time Emily wore white on the red carpet! Because she just returned from a sunny get-away, her skin was perfectly bronzed for a white gown. And because we decided to have her hair loosely back I wanted her makeup to be soft and ethereal and just a pop of color on the lips to bring out the jewels.

“The first and most important step is prepping the skin. I started with Kiehls’ Ultra Facial Cream and Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. And because I knew Emily would wear a matte lip, I slathered her lips in the Kiehls Lip Balm #1. I then started on Emily’s eye makeup so her skin treatments could properly absorb.”

“For her eyes, I dabbed on Dior’s Backstage Eye Prime over the entire lid and then mixed 2 of the lightest shades of Dior’s eye palette “Cuir Cannage” #796 over the lid. I also mixed two of the darker shades of the same palette in her crease, concentrating on the outside corners and a bit on the lower lash line. I also brushed a bit of her blush (Cocktail Peach #553) on her lids. I dabbed on Dior’s long wearing cream shadow in Chimere over the entire lid to give it a little shimmer. And, of course, tons of Dior Show Mascara.

“Before I started on the foundation, I used a bit of the Kiehls Micro-Blur Skin Perfector in the T-zone and then applied the Diorskin Star makeup followed by the Diorskin Star brightening concealer to cover any little imperfections or redness.”

“And then, for my favorite part of the look, Dior lipstick #169 Grege with just a bit of the new Rouge Dior Lipshine in #808 over the top. Emily told me it might be her favorite look I’ve ever done on her!”

Kiehl’s Float Rendering (Photo Credit: Kiehl’s)

Kiehl’s will be the first beauty company in over 30 years to appear in the Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year’s Day.

The theme of Kiehl’s float is “Inspiring a Beautiful World” and will showcase their original apothecary in New York’s East Village and represent their three philanthropic endeavors: HIV/AIDS Awareness, The Environment and Children’s Causes.

Kiehl’s fits right in with the Rose Parade as Kiehl’s uses natural ingredients powered by by science in their skincare products, and quite a few of those ingredients will be represented in their float; sunflowers, roses, pear blossoms, pears and peonies.

Another first will be that Kiehl’s is the first company to have motorcycles ride along side of the float and with that two very special guests.  In the vintage sidecar motorcycle, Timothy Brown, the Berlin Patient and an advocate for the rights of those living with HIV and AIDS around the world.  The second guest is seventeen year old Evan Dumas, of Culver City Unified School District who represents Kiehl’s commitment to improving the environment through Recycle Across America.

Riding on the float will be  Kiehl’s President, Chris Salgardo, Kiehl’s Senior Vice President of Global Communications, Rob Imig, and eight of Kiehl’s West Coast Kiehl’s Customer Representatives.

Be on the watch for the float and follow the team along on  social media at #KiehlsxRoseParade!

Get Dianna Agron’s AMA Beauty Look

(Photo Credit: Jason Merritt - Getty Images)

Dianna Agron looked gorgeous when she hit the red carpet and her makeup looked amazing thanks to her artist Georgie Eisdell.

Thanks to an amazing team I was able to get the scoop, so that you can create this eye catching look.

“We went for a sexy, smoky vibe which is easy with Dianna, she has the eyes for it and her skin is gorgeous.”  said Georgie Eisdell.

(Photo Credit: Jason Merritt - Getty Images)
(Photo Credit: Jason Merritt – Getty Images)

To start the look, Georgie prepped Dianna’s skin with Kiehl’s Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate , which kept her skin to stay extra hydrated over the long night.  Next they used Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream Intense Hydration.  With the focus of the makeup on her eyes, the next step was prepping the eye area with Kiehl’s Super Multi-Correcting Eye Opening Serum. Just before I started on her base, I used Kiehls Micro-Blur Skin Perfector which puts a soft-focus filter on the skin.

Kiehls BB Cream (Photo Credit: Kiehl's)
Kiehl’s Skin Tone Correcting & Beautifying BB Cream (Photo Credit: Kiehl’s)

“I evened out her skin with Kiehl’s Skin Tone Correcting & Beautifying BB Cream in Light, and then powdered lightly with La Mer’s The Powder to take the edge of the shine.”

“Dianna’s eyes were the focus. We haven’t used a lot of color lately so I wanted to give her eyes a little something special.  I used Chanel’s Illusion D’ombre in Diapason and Fantasme on the lid, blending it up into the crease. I brought it under the eye to create a smoky effect. On the inner rim for depth I used Tarte’s Deep Amethyst Pencil followed by two layers of YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils Mascara in Black, making sure the roots were coated really well to give extra depth to the lash line.”

Nars Blush in Madly was used on her cheeks to add color and create a contour.

“I finished off her look with Kiehls Lip Balm #1 first, then Jouer’s Lip Shine in Maui.”

“Just before she walked out I put Kiehls Creme de Corps body moisturizer on her arms chest and legs for that perfect glow.”

Thanks to our friends at Kiehl’s we are able to give you all of the details about Taylor Schilling’s  gorgeous look courtesy of her artist Georgie Eisdell.

“Taylor’s look tonight was very much about her skin and enhancing her natural beauty. Simple and chic.”  says Eisdell

“I first prepared Taylor’s skin with Kiehl’s Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate, and then moisturized with Ultra Facial Cream Intense Hydration and Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado for her eyes. Then I finished with Kiehl’s Micro-Blur Skin Perfector, my favorite thing to have on the skin before foundation.”

For Taylor’s skin  Kiehl’s Skin Tone Correcting & Beautifying BB Cream in Fair/ Light was applied.

“I used Dior’s SkinFlash to brighten the eye, and then used Chanel Cream Blush in Revelation for a beautiful sheen on the cheek and then a touch of Chanel Illuminating Powder over the top for an extra burst of sheen.”

“I powdered really lightly, just on the high points of her face with La Mer’s The Powder.”

“I enhanced Taylor’s already amazing brows with Laura Mercier Brow Definer in Soft. On Taylor’s eyes, I left the lids bare of eye shadow. I just put a wash of translucent powder to even out the area, then used Tom Ford Eye Defining Pen in Deeper along the lash line very finely and slightly extended for the cat eye effect.”

“I finished the eye with Kevin Aucoin’s Essential Mascara in Rich Black, and a then a few Stilazzi individual lashes to create a fluffy fullness to her natural lashes.”

Her look was finished off with Kiehls Lip Balm #1 to hydrate the lips, then Jouer Lip Shine in Ibiza.”
