Jaimie Alexander stunned on the red carpet and as a presenter for the 2016 Golden Globes.  We are very lucky that Kiehl’s and IT Cosmetics, makeup artist Jeffrey Paul shared with us the products he used to create the beauty look.

“To compliment Jaimie’s luxurious and royalty status dress, I wanted to give her an elegant look with a touch of drama. Jaimie’s features are all stunning so it was hard to decide what should be the focal point but we went with her gorgeous eyes as they are the windows to the soul. I framed them and emphasized the light color with a little bit of drama so she could shine like the star she is on the carpet.”

SKIN:

“A bit of moisture was added first on Jaimie’s lips with Kiehl’s Facial Fuel No-Shine Moisturizing Lip Balm.”

“Her skin was prepped and refined with Kiehl’s Turmeric & Cranberry Seed Energizing and Radiance Masque to quickly prime Jaimie’s skin in dry areas. I then began hydrating her skin with Kiehl’s Iris Extract Activating Essence Treatment, and then made her skin shine with Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream, and Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado under her eyes.”

Get Emily Blunt’s Golden Globe 2015 Beauty Look

The 2015 72nd Annual Golden Globe’s took place last night in Los Angeles.  I have the distinct pleasure of getting all of the beauty details of one of the hottest nominees; Emily Blunt.  Makeup Artist Jenn Streicher for Kiehl’s and Dior Beauty tells us how she created the look.

“Emily is wearing a gorgeous white Michael Kors dress with to-die-for jewels by Lorraine Schwartz – both the dress and jewels were custom made just for Emily. I can’t remember the last time Emily wore white on the red carpet! Because she just returned from a sunny get-away, her skin was perfectly bronzed for a white gown. And because we decided to have her hair loosely back I wanted her makeup to be soft and ethereal and just a pop of color on the lips to bring out the jewels.

“The first and most important step is prepping the skin. I started with Kiehls’ Ultra Facial Cream and Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. And because I knew Emily would wear a matte lip, I slathered her lips in the Kiehls Lip Balm #1. I then started on Emily’s eye makeup so her skin treatments could properly absorb.”

“For her eyes, I dabbed on Dior’s Backstage Eye Prime over the entire lid and then mixed 2 of the lightest shades of Dior’s eye palette “Cuir Cannage” #796 over the lid. I also mixed two of the darker shades of the same palette in her crease, concentrating on the outside corners and a bit on the lower lash line. I also brushed a bit of her blush (Cocktail Peach #553) on her lids. I dabbed on Dior’s long wearing cream shadow in Chimere over the entire lid to give it a little shimmer. And, of course, tons of Dior Show Mascara.

“Before I started on the foundation, I used a bit of the Kiehls Micro-Blur Skin Perfector in the T-zone and then applied the Diorskin Star makeup followed by the Diorskin Star brightening concealer to cover any little imperfections or redness.”

“And then, for my favorite part of the look, Dior lipstick #169 Grege with just a bit of the new Rouge Dior Lipshine in #808 over the top. Emily told me it might be her favorite look I’ve ever done on her!”

Best 2014 Golden Globe Beauty Looks

Whether your favorite actor or actress won a Golden Globe, the red carpet was full of stunning and surprising looks.  While there were so many starlets that looked great there were some ladies that were perfection.  Here are some of my favorite beauty looks.

Mila Kunis showed everyone how to wear a gray smokey eye perfectly.  What was stunning was that it was not over done with black smoke.  It was dramatic with restraint.  Mila’s makeup artist Tracey Levy used Lancôme shadows and pencils to create her look.  Lancôme Color Design Infinite 24HR in Timeless Taupe on the lids with a dash of Lancôme Le Crayon Khôl Pencil in Gris Noir and Lancôme Artliner in Noir.

Pink Lips were shown on the Spring Fashion Runway by designers like Carolina Herrera and Diane Von FurstenburgEmma Watson wore a pink lip perfectly at the Golden Globes.  Her pout popped and the rest of her makeup complimented it perfectly.

Showing hair and makeup in harmony and not only for young Hollywood was Cate Blanchett.  Instead of wearing a red lip, Cate opted for going with the pink trend.  Her bob was perfectly in place and was styled with a great blow out.

Jennifer Lawrence made me look twice as her hair and makeup looked amazing. The dark mulberry lip color was Rouge Dior Lipstick in Prune Daisy.   I also loved that her shadow was a silver eye shadow that was not too dark.  The eye shadow used was Dior’s 5 Couleurs Eye Shadow in Gris-Gris.
